Chris Halla
Keyboards, Tenor Sax, Vocals, and Guitar
Chris performs live with several different bands. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays Keyboards, Sax and Guitar, and also sings lead and backing vocals. Has been a member of the Brother John Band for 20 years. Chris is co-founder of the Chicago based country band, “The Daniel Grove Band”, in which he sings lead vocals and plays acoustic and electric guitars, as well as keyboards. He also plays with the Mason Rivers Band and the Luckytown Band. Chris has played with Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, Doc Severinsen, and Tito Puente, as well as Country Artists: Jamie O’Niel and Erica Jo. For acoustic guitar Chris uses a Guild DC5 w/Electric Pickups. For electric guitar he uses a Les Paul Standard or a Fender Telecaster, playing both thru a Gibson Super Gold Tone Amp. He plays Yamaha P250, and a Roland VK-7 keyboards.
