projects.
Wrote and
sang prior National Hit that went gold on Atlantic Records, with "The
Curly Shuffle" about the
Three Stooges with Jump N' The Saddle band.
Influenced
by many including Taj Mahal, Muddy Waters and other blues artists,
but has his own original,
strong vocal style, and subtle, melodic harp technique.
Plays Lee
Oscar harmonicas, using Shure Green Bullet mics with either a
Fender Blues Jr. for very small venues, or a Tweed Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 with 1/3 octave EQ in most
live situations. He likes Shure Beta 87 for
vocals and acoustic harp live;
and Sennheiser 441 (acoustic) and various Astatic
and other vintage mics with a
Fender Bassman head (electric) or Pro Tools
Amp Farm in the studio.
