Teaches music professionally, works for Buddy Guy's Legends and other Chicago area clubs.  Plays live and records with several music projects including his own  band.  Has played and toured with Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Junior Wells, Steve Miller, the Black Crowes, Freddie Jones Band and acquired ringing endorsements from many other world renown musicians including Led Zeppelin vocalist, Robert Plant, You play a mean guitar! And George Benson, Youre fearless! I thought I was fearless! A vital component of Buddy Guys and Koko Taylor bands, and prior leader of Otis Rushs band for three years, John is a brilliant vocalist, guitarist and pianist. Has been influenced by all traditional blues artists in his guitar and singing  styles and draws piano influences from varied styles ranging from Professor Long  Hair to Ray Charles.  Plays a custom Epiphone Les Paul for slide and open tuning, and Gibson  ES347 hollow body guitars with Fender and sometimes Gibson amps, usually  tweed Bassman; and uses Roland VK7 for organ and favors the real feel of a good house piano.  www.brojohn.com
